TyresGone has no accounts, no sign-up and no email capture. There is very little to tell you, and this page tells you all of it.
This notice will be updated when TyresGone Ltd is registered.
Who operates this site
TyresGone. The company behind it is being registered; until that is done this page names no company number or registered office, because stating one that does not exist would be worse than stating none.
What is collected
Server logs. Requests to this site are logged with the IP address they came from and basic request information. That is used to keep the service running and to spot abuse. Logs are kept for 30 days and then deleted.
Page counts. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts page views without cookies and does not identify individual visitors or follow anyone between sites.
Two preferences in your own browser. tg_audience records whether you told us you run a garage or collect tyres, and tg_sound records whether you turned the stamp sound on. Both are set by you, neither is sent to us, and clearing your browser storage removes both. More detail is on the cookies and storage page.
What is not collected
- No accounts, so no names, passwords or profiles.
- No email capture and no marketing list.
- No advertising cookies, tracking pixels or cross-site analytics.
- No payment details — nothing on this site is paid for.
- Nothing is sold or shared for anyone else’s marketing.
The register is not our data
The carrier entries shown here come from the Environment Agency public register, which is published under the Open Government Licence. We reproduce it. We cannot amend it. If an entry about your business is wrong, it has to be corrected with the Environment Agency, and the correction reaches this site on the next nightly sync.
Right to object, and taking a page down
The waste carrier register is public and published under the Open Government Licence, and a lawful registration being visible is the point of it. We will not remove a current registration because the holder would rather it were not found. What we will do: correct anything we have got wrong about an entry, including the way we have grouped it by town or county; drop an entry entirely at the next nightly sync once the Environment Agency removes it; and act on a genuine safety concern, or on a registered address that is a private home rather than a business premises. Email privacy@tyresgone.co.uk and say which registration number it is about.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, and object to it being processed. In practice the only thing held is a server log entry that expires after 30 days. Email privacy@tyresgone.co.uk and you will get an answer within one month.
If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
When the company is registered, this notice is replaced with a full one naming the controller. If accounts, email or payments are ever added, this page changes before they are switched on, not after.
