Checking a carrier is free and needs no sign-up. It always will be. Saving your checks or being told when a registration is about to expire needs an email address. The paid plans are for the record-keeping that comes after.
Yearly plans are paid upfront for 12 months and cost the same as 10 monthly payments.
For garages
Checking who is registered costs nothing and needs no sign-up. The paid plan is for keeping the record afterwards.

One email each time the registration's entry on the register changes. For an upper-tier registration, one 90 days and one 30 days before it expires; lower-tier registrations do not expire, so they get no expiry reminder. Nothing else, ever. Stop it in one click. We do not share the address, and we do not use it for anything you did not tick.

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, in pounds sterling, through Stripe. TyresGone Ltd is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added.
We give at least 30 days' notice by email before a new price applies to an existing subscription. A Founding Collector's price is held for as long as their subscription continues.
Terms, in plain sight
Prices are shown monthly or yearly — use the switch above the plans. Yearly plans are paid upfront for 12 months.
No VAT is charged. TyresGone Ltd is not VAT registered.
Cancel any time. Access runs to the end of the period you have paid for, whether that is a month or a year. Part-period refunds are not given, except as set out in our terms or where the law requires one.
Switch from monthly to yearly whenever you like: the unused part of your current month is taken off the first yearly charge. Moving from yearly back to monthly takes effect at the end of the year you have paid for.
Claiming your profile is free on every plan, including no plan at all.
Founding Collector: A waste carrier qualifies when TyresGone approves its claim to its profile while the postcode district of its registration is one of TyresGone's launch districts. Each registration can be a Founding Collector once.
A Founding Collector has the Solo plan's features at no charge.
This lasts until five garages in the collector's postcode district have a confirmed TyresGone account, and then for 30 more days. An account counts once its owner has confirmed its email address, each account counts once, and the collector's own account is never counted.
When the count first reaches five, we email the collector the date Founding access ends, 30 days later. We email once more a week before that date.
When Founding access ends, the account returns to the free claimed profile, unless the collector has chosen a plan. The claim and the profile stay. The free monthly Collection Records stay, every Collection Record issued stays valid, and every QR code keeps pointing at the profile page.
No card is taken for Founding access, and it never turns into a paid plan by itself.
A Founding Collector can subscribe to Solo, Firm or Fleet at any time, during Founding access or after it ends. Subscribing ends Founding access, and the subscription keeps the price it started on for as long as it continues. If the collector changes plan, the new plan's price applies. If the subscription ends, a new one is at the price of the day.
